Gedling and Sherwood are pleased to announce that our Regatta Way ground in Gamston will be available to hire for any teams looking for a ground to fill league fixtures on the following Saturday's: 5th May, 12th May and 7th July. This is an excellent facility and can accommodate all the needs of a club side.
There are also a number of Sunday's throughout the season that the ground is available for hire. Please use the contact details below if you are interested in checking the ground availbility.

Joe Bentley
Joe Bentley - Newstead Abbey and Village Cricket Club
It is with regret and sadness that I have to advise you of the death, on Tuesday 17 January, of Joe Bentley following an unsuccessful fight against cancer.
Joe played for Papplewick and Linby CC for a number of years before moving to Newstead Abbey and Village where he became a familiar face to many people involved in the local cricket. His funeral will be held at Mansfield Crematorium at 11.45am on Thursday 26 January. Anyone who knew Joe is welcome to attend. Family flowers only please but donations to the chosen charity welcome.

Alex and professional coaches will be teaching the children, aged 7 years to 14 years, all aspects of Cricket from Batting, Bowling, fielding, tactical awareness and healthy eating lifestyle. These skills the children will be learning will be used throughout the week and incorporated into cricket games and competitions along with visits from Professional Cricketers to assist in the training, competitions and award handouts.
