Cricket pitch available for hire

Details of a new cricket pitch and others offering free dates.

Arnold Hill Academy (Lower School), Gedling Road, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 6NZ.

Included in the cost is the pitch, 6th Form block (which would be an ideal place to have tea due to the kitchen) and the changing rooms. This would be available on Saturdays and Sundays. The pitch is not league approved but a visit could be arranged if a league side are interested.

We also have an astro wicket which is able to be hired in the evenings.

Gedling and Sherwood are pleased to announce that our Regatta Way ground in Gamston will be available to hire for any teams looking for a ground to fill league fixtures on the following Saturday's: 5th May, 12th May and 7th July. This is an excellent facility and can accommodate all the needs of a club side.

There are also a number of Sunday's throughout the season that the ground is available for hire. Please use the contact details below if you are interested in checking the ground availbility.

Cup competitions 2012

David Richards advised at the AGM to apply for the cup competitions via the web site. The form referred to was the ground availability form submitted by all but 5 clubs September/October 2011.

Below are the teams who have entered the cup. It is not to late to apply.

SNCL Fixtures 2012

Fixtures for 2012 are now available to download. Go to above "Download" link and select Gunn & Moore SNCL fixtures 2012 to extract your required divisions. Please check back here to view the changes.

Approved changes to 15-Jan (you will need to make the changes to the download document.)

  2. Div E 08-Sep East Bridgford vs Farndon (grd unavailable on 30-Jun)
  3. Div F 08-Sep Belvoir II vs Beeston & Toton Sycamore (grd unavailable on 14-Jul)
  4. Div R 08-Sep Belvoir IV vs Ellerslie IV (grd unavailable on 14-Jul)
  5. Div C & K Newstead Abbey and Keyworth have agreed to reverse their fixtures
  6. Div R Collingham III and Old Dalby have agreed to reverse their fixtures
  7. Div L 28-Apr Belvoir III vs Radcliffe on Trent III (agreed from 21-Jul)
  8. Div K 28-Apr Keyworth II vs Young Lions (agreed from 14-Jul)
Many clubs have dates when their ground is unavailable, please feel free to find an alternative ground or move the fixture to a free Saturday. All such moves have to be approved by the fixture secretary Dennis Wright. Such change requests must be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. All clubs must check the fixtures for any clashes (ie 1st & 2nd XI at home on the same day), these changes will take precedent. The majority of fixtures have been manually adjusted so error is a possibility.

Can I also give a huge thanks to Ryan Eason whose expertise has brought these fixtures to you 15 days ahead of the AGM on Monday 23rd January.

Club Representative form 2012

The club rep form is available to complete on line, (in the left column after logging on, or from the "Download" link at the top under registration forms. I have only received 35 forms by 22-Jan.

The AGM is on Monday 23rd January, all clubs to submit by this date. If your club AGM is after this date, therefore do not have confirmed captains, please state in the appropriate section "To be confirmed". Then submit the form again once you have this detail.

I will advise soon of the deadline for re-submission in order for the handbook to be completed and printed.

All forms submitted on line are removed within 24 hours and stored on league software only.
