Below are a number of courses run in the county which, on completion, the SNCL will give back a contribution of up to 100% of the course fee .** Clubs are entitled to still apply for an ECB grant.


Coach support worker courses.
24th Feb & 28th Apr
A contribution of £30 on completion of the course.


Certificate in coaching children’s cricket (age 6-13)
2nd January
A contribution of up to £50 on completion of course.


Certificate in coaching young people and adults (13 years plus)
18th November 2018
A contribution of up to £50 on completion of course.


Children pathway CPD modules
3rd Feb
A 100% contribution of course fee will be paid on completion of course.

Stage 1: start Sun 27th Jan
Stage 2: 24th March and 14th April
A contribution of £30 will be paid on completion of the course.

** This is for SNCL players or club members. Subject to committee ratification. limited funds available so on a first come first served basis (note we have not run out of funds in the past). Clubs with teams in the Premier league should seek funding from the NCBPL.

The Gunn & Moore South Nottinghamshire  Cricket League Annual Presentation Evening is being held in the concert room at Cotgrave Welfare on Friday 9th November 2018.

The doors and bars are open at 7:00pm and a buffet will commence at 8:15pm prompt.

Paul Grundle is an award winning professional magician who is in high demand all over the UK. His unique style of magic will have you stunned and amazed! Paul’s sleight of hand and close up magic has won him numerous awards all over the country.
“This man is an incredible magician!” Alex Hales, England & Nottingham cricketer.
The buffet will be self-service and will include a range of sandwich's, chicken goujon’s, sausage rolls, spring rolls, samosas, onion bhajis, cocktail savouries, seafood sticks. This is with salad items such as coleslaw, beetroot, potato salad, roast potatoes, crisps etc. etc. There will be 3 buffet tables in the main room and a further table serving the balcony and tables will be directed when and where to obtain their buffet.

Following the meal there will be a Q&A session from a representative of our County Club. The representative will then present awards to Individuals and teams for each Division. More details will be given once known.

During the Evening a raffle will be held and it's hoped that each club provides a raffle prize.

The concert room is a large room with bar and excellent facilities. Club members will be allocated together. There are no restrictions on the amount of tickets available per team.

Tickets are £10:00 per head and I must have applications by the 26th October at the latest.

Please complete (or reproduce in an email) the enclosed pro-forma and return to me as soon as possible, or call on the above number. 12 league winners or runners-up trophies will be provided, if extra required (£6 each) please state in your response. Payment for tickets and extra trophies is to be made in advance.

Can I also draw attention to the Stewart Hague Young player award.
Nominations are requested for under 16’s whose performances in the SNCL 2018 deserve merit.

Nominations are invited, from club Secretary or League Representative, for the Stewart Hague young player award. This is for Under 16 cricketers for their performances in the Gunn & Moore South Nottinghamshire Cricket League 2018.
