“Dyson cleans up to sweep aside Bonnington”

 

Rye Cafe & Bar Division A

Andy Kirkwood hit 40 in Wollaton’s score of 135-10 as Attenborough ran out comfortable winners finishing on 137-2 with Chris Allcoat 43*,Craig Heiden 34, Andy Simkiss 4-30 & Ryan Swiers 3-45 all figuring in the win that takes them to the top of the table. Greg Oldfield with an unbeaten 103* helped Belvoir 199-6 to a winning draw over Gedling Colliery 188-8 who themselves had a centurion as Rhys Hayes 120 hit his third century of the season.

200 Degrees Coffee Division B

Danny Williams 46 and Carl Blake 44 were the backbone for Kimberley 143-10 but visitors Hyson Green CC 144-5 were victorious as both Zahid Iqbal 56* & Gemaal Hussain 41*& 3-42 were in fine form. Scott Andrew 56 top scored in Calverton’s 140-8 as they fell to defeat at the hands of Eastwood 145-3 with the quartet of Ben Buckley 56*,Neil Gregory 45*,Steven Dockrell 3-13 & Shaun Stocks 3-34 all performing on the day. Plumtree 72-2 go top of the table as Jack Manton 3-40 and Albert Carter 3-9 reduced Thurgarton to 71 all out earlier in the afternoon.

Rothera Dowson Division C

An intriguing finish was denied by the rain as Southwell 112-6 with Chris Miller 40* closed in on Keyworth’s total of 129-8 in which Steve Wright had taken 5-30. Rain also denied a finish in the game in which Gotham posted 225-6 with Matt Hogg hitting a fine 89 and hosts Wollaton were 124-6 when play was curtailed.

Rex Gooding Division D

Oliver Dyson 88 & 3-21 and G Clark 39* helped Collingham 170-3 to a fine home win over Sutton Bonnington 169-10 for whom J Wilks had finished unbeaten on 48* earlier. A Jefferies 33, O Straw 61* & I Huskinson 3-21 were they stand out performers as West Bridgfordians 156-7 were victorious over Gedling Colliery 148-5 in which D O Brien scored 57. 5-14 from Ekroop Salb helped Ellerslie 122-7 defeat Hickling 72-10 at Little Bounds.

Trophy Master Division E

Mohammed Nissar with 36* guided Nott’s Unity Casuals 125-6 to victory as they the dismissed Bingham for 113 in the reply. Sam Penford 95 and Josh Taylor 4-36 were the stars for Belvoir 146-7 in their home win over Eastwood 145-10.

GB Bookkeeping Division F

Tom Fotherigill with 6-17 took the plaudits as Wymeswold 101-9 recorded a fine away win at Gotham as they were bowled out for 76 in reply. Edward Clarke with 43 helped Caythorpe 104-5 to secure a win over leaders East Leake 102-9 and this closes the gap to just a point between the top two sides. Oliver Cooper 40 and 3-19 from Richard Stanton enabled Burton Joyce 141-7 to record a victory in a close encounter with Ruddington 137-9.

BLCS Division G

H S Bhaker 54*,B Sankaran 33, Rav S Digwa 3-14 & H S Swali 2-17 all combined to helped Young Lions 106-1 cruise to the win over Ravenshead 102-10 for whom N Shafiq hit 40.

Central College Division H

Eden Tranter took 4-36 and then Josh Tranter hit 68* as Balderton 107-1 ran out comfortable winners over Keyworth 106-9. A thrilling game saw Gedling & Sherwood 124-10 win by just seven runs as Chilwell fell short when being bowled out for 117, both sides had contenders for man of the match as Simon Waites 27 & 6-47 and Halder Khan 32 & 5-24 for the victors strived for the award.

Carlton Car Centre Division J

The trio of Richard Wells 77, T Newby 59 & 3-11 and Ben Gathercole 4-14 were all instrumental in Cotgrave’s fine away win over Oxton 42-10 for whom the consolation was debutant Brian Costello who took 4-33. Thurgarton 166-7 had a fine home win as Anthony Downie 51, Tim Kirkham 40 & Justin Thomas 5-38 all starred when they defeated Bramcote 99-8 who had Ruwan Panameera taking 5-37. Leaders Stapleford 77-10 fell to a last ball defeat as West Bridgfordians 78-7 edged home with A Petit hitting 31 and J Weaver taking 3-14.

King Stone Products Division K

J Fraser 44, A Crouch 5-20 (including hat-trick) & R Kelly 4-31 all assisted as Kimberley 130-8 returned home with maximum points when defeating Ruddington 118-10 for whom Thomas Hann took 4-42. A Fine all round team effort was emphasized with contributions from Dre Forbes 33, Nick Proverbs 28 & 2-13,Harry Priestley 46,Sam Pick 2-19 & Jacob Taylor(12) 3-25 as Thrumpton 152-8 gained yet another win this time over Wollaton 127-10. Zac Shaw  48*,Carl Stahlberger 33 & Matthew Wharmby 4-30 all combined as Ellerslie 106-2 returned home after a fine winning display over Lenton & Willoughby 105-10. Asad Ali hit 92 for Basford Mill 197-7 but Poplars replied with 198-3 as Nazakat Ali 69*, Harry Crooks 49* R Thompson 5-36 were all key players on the day

Oracle Property Finance Ltd Division L

Fifteen year old Joel Baddeley hit 51* and Andy Waddle 30 as Attenborough 146-4 ran out victors over Great Dalby 116-10 for whom Luke Harrison performed well with 31 & 3-19.

Robert Whowell & Partners Division M

League leaders Belvoir 132-1 with Alex Hirst 78 Robbie McNeish 40*, Sophie Munro 3-39 & Simon Poole 3-31 all in fine form helped them defeat Whatton & Aslockton 131-8. Andy Matthews 46 & Jack Shelton 3-19 helped Wymeswold inflict defeat on visitors Bingham who were 98 all at the finish.

Sign Solutions Division N

Craig James 4-21 and Sam Fitzgerald 3-11 bowled West Bridgfordians 99-5 to victory as they defeated Beeston Toton Sycamore 98-9. Raj Shandiliya hit 39 for West Bridgford Legion 73-6 edged to the win over Nott’s & Arnold 72-10. Steve Wharmby 4-12 and Finlay Hulbert 2-6 bowled Ellerslie 101-5 to a home success over Keyworth 78-10.
