Rye Cafe & Bar Division A

  Collingham 214-8 are the early leaders after a narrow two wicket win away at Ellerslie 213-9 with A Zaidi 94 & 3-45 putting in a fine all round performance with both bat and ball, there was also a fine spell of bowling yet again from Sunil Shrestha 5-40 for the home side. Chris Allcoat hit 51 as Attenborough 226-7 hosted Gedling Colliery 61-2 but the match was forced to be abandoned due to the inclement weather. Richard Coleman 46* and Murray De Banke 35 & 2-47 steered Hoveringham 121-5 to victory over Long Eaton 117-10. Hyson Green CC 177-9 had both Umar Zaman 66 & 4-15 and Liaqat Ali 4-19 starring with an impressive away win over Belvoir 132-10. Wollaton 231-9 gained a winning draw over Balderton 151-6 with Dave Barr top scoring with 67.

200 Degrees Coffee Division B

 West Bridgfordians 321-4 had to settle for a winning draw as Nott’s Unity Casuals 210-9 held out, the performance of the day belonged to B Ryder who hit 111. Plumtree 85-0 completely dominated proceedings in the game against Kimberley 84-10 as S Bazmi 38* & 4-13 starred. An undefeated 40 from Shualb Khalil helped Hyson Green CC 139-5 to victory over Thurgarton 138-10. Shaun Stocks 5-54 enabled Eastwood 178-10 to close out on a narrow victory away at Caythorpe 172-10.

Rothera Dowson Division C

 Keyworth 196-10 defeated Gotham 142-10 in a game where both sides had a bowler taking six wickets as Ian Graham 6-48 and Luke Prettyjohn 6-90 excelled. A match winning 77 from Tim Green helped Southwell 250-9 to an away win over Bottesford 155-10 who had Jake Fisher top scoring with 91. Kirkby Portland 153-5 eased to victory as Jason Caunt 3-18 again bowled his side to the win over Wollaton 149-9. Beeston & Toton Sycamore 234-9 had Tom Fullwood, Johnathan Thornton & Lashuane Weir all hitting 47 in the abandoned game against Thrumpton 20-0. Rain denied what looked likely to be a comfortable win for Radcliffe on Trent 98-1 as they chased Bramcote’s earlier total of 159-10.

Rex Gooding Division D

 G Clark 65* & Charlie Lucas 55 steered Collingham to a respectable 187-6 but 44 from R Duggan saw visitors Ellerslie home to the win closing on 188-4. Gedling & Sherwood 166-10 had the pair of Zaheer Akhtar 68* and Muhammad Akeel 6-41 in fine form as they defeated Underwood 140-10 for whom Tom Chalkey 53 and Rob Flowerdew 5-43 also performed with credibility. A Brown 64 and Tim Buckthorpe 4-23 were the shining lights as Hucknall 150-3 strode to a comfortable win away from home against Gedling Colliery 147-10 for whom Richard Beaumont 67 topped the batting statistics. Hickling 180-5 totally dominated proceedings at Bridegate Lane when they entertained West Bridgfordians 50-10 with the quartet of I Fisher 60, M Playle 61, M Robinson 3-17 & J Playle 3-5 all figuring well. Robin Curtis 57* and Mark Everingham 5-20 ensured it was an enjoyable away trip as Farndon 112-2 ran away with the spoils when defeating Sutton Bonnington 111-10

Trophy Master Division E

 When you take 6-56 you expect to be on the winning side unfortunately Arun Johal 6-56 will feel a little aggrieved as Nott’s Unity Casuals were dismissed for a paltry score of just 31-10, this was in reply to Belvoir scoring 266-7 as James Hawkes 69, Paul Chadwick 50, Fraser Fentam 59* & 5-9 and an incredible 5-21 from Paul Gadd in which he took 4 wickets in 4 balls. Gavin Huskinson 116 took the plaudits as Basford Mill 234-10 eased home despite 71 from James Wood when defeating Kirkby Portland 180-10. Ryan Stahlberger 5-37 bowled East Bridgford 183-8 to victory over Lenton & Willoughby 165-8. James Evans hit 53 for Newark R & M 210-9 in the tied match against local rivals Bingham 210-7. No play was possible in the match featuring Eastwood & Plumtree.

GB Bookkeeping Division F

  Majid Raja hit a glorious 114 as Gotham posted 253-8 but the weather curtailed any chance of a result as Kimberley were 44-2 when play was stopped. East Leake 80-7 with Alex Cufflin taking 4-25 tiptoed across the winning line in reply to Ruddington scoring just 76-10. Freddie King 3-18 helped Caythorpe 78-2 to a comfortable away win at Fiskerton 77-10. Rob Pitman carried his bat for a tenacious 75* as Wymeswold 188-6 fell to defeat against Burton Joyce 190-6 as Gavin Baguley hit 57 for the victors.

BLCS Division G

   Richard Lumb took 5-11 as Kinoulton 92-9 nervously edged home against Calverton 88-10. Another close finish saw Flintham 153-8 gain a hard fought victory over West Bridgford Legion 152-9. 50 from L Stephenson enabled his Ravenshead side post 188-10 to overpower Lowdham who were bowled out for 81-10. Bottesford 35-1 looked set for victory when chasing Long Eaton’s 76-10 until heavy rain fell and a similar story occurred where Young Lions 253-7 were left frustrated by the weather in their game away at Beeston & Toton Sycamore where the second inning never got underway.

Central College Division H

 Chilwell 159-9 were denied the win as Talib Hussain hit 42 in the abandoned game against Woodborough who were in deep trouble on 53-6. Taqq Rehman 72* guided Hyson Green CC 146-5 to the win when they came away with the win over Southwell 145-10. Dan Mather 76* and Lee Gommersall 71* & 4-38 both vied for the man of the match award as Gedling Colliery 217-4 claimed the win over Keyworth 204-10. Josh Tranter 58 & 5-33 again featured heavily as Balderton 139-7 inflicted defeat upon Gedling & Sherwood 135-10. Rain prevented a finish as Attenborough 68-2 were in pursuit of Hucknall’s 211-6.

Carlton Car Centre Division J

 A fine all round team performance including 4-18 from Palwak Marjom saw Clifton 223-9 cruise home against West Bridgfordians 120-10. S Quick hit 53 as Bramcote’s 170-8 proved too strong for hosts Newark R & M 95-10. Richard Wells 79, Ben Gathercole 71 & Lee Potts 50 all batted well as Cotgrave 239-10 took maximum points in the win over Hoveringham 142-10. Adeeb Javed 6-5 was the match winner as Madni 157-10 outplayed visitors Thurgarton 82-10. Gary Dawson with a spell of 7-20 helped Stapleford to a comprehensive win over Oxton 50-10.

King Stone Products Division K

 Ben Hughes with 4-30 helped Caythorpe 132-10 over the finishing line as Lenton Willoughby were dismissed for just 76-10. Ryan Glossop hit 69* but his Ellerslie side closed on 145-3 and fell to defeat when chasing Ruddington’s total of 161-9. Ady Cooper hit 113* and team mates Falzan Ahmed 5-22 & M Stewardson 5-4 helped Basford Old Boys 221-9 destroy Basford Mill 51-10. Youngster Ed Eggerman 4-28 bowled Wollaton 182-9 to victory against near neighbours Kimberley 131-10. Nazakat Ali 124* once again scored heavily as Poplars 247-5 overwhelmed Thrumpton 81-10.

Oracle Property Finance Ltd Division L

  53 from Steve Fleming and 4-39 from Harry Wells took Kirkby Portland 169-5 to victory over Great Dalby 168-10. C Knight 62 and 87 from G Alrey saw Attenborough 192-5 return home with full points when defeating Radcliffe on Trent 115-10. Simon Waites with a patient 43 helped Chilwell 159-4 to an away win when overcoming hosts Lowdham 158-9. Underwood’s game at home to Collingham was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Robert Whowell & Partners Division M

 It was all one way traffic as Bingham 75-0 returned home with a comfortable 10 wicket win over Newark R & M 74-10. Whatton & Aslockton 173-9 bossed affairs when they demolished Wymeswold 43-10 with Fynn Purnell taking 5-12. Alistair Fell hit 82 but his team Old Dalby 172-10 fell to defeat against visitors Belvoir 186-6. An amazing game saw Greg Mcleod take 6-16 as East Bridgford 55-10 defeated Nott’s & Arnold 26-10. Nottingham Deaf 70-1 returned home victorious after defeating Hucknall 67-10.

Sign Solutions Division N

Lee Morley 44 top scored as Lambley 148-7 took the spoils in their win over Fiskerton 97-10. John Seymour 39* steered Burton Joyce 126-4 home in the win over West Bridgford Legion 125-6. A superb 100* from Steve Morgan helped Beeston & Toton Sycamore 146-2 to a resounding win over Notts & Arnold 143-5.
