LLOYD BANKS A TON AS BEN STICKS THE BOOT INTO BELVOIR FOR LENTON & WILLOUGHBY
“BELL & JEROME” DIVISION A
Ellerslie 327-8 remain unbeaten so far this season with a winning draw over Thurgarton 214-8 as Hamish Moore 117 & Dan Footit 84* plundered the away teams attack and in return Josh Downie 52 & Sam Cliff 45 & 5-65 gave very creditable performances for he visitors. Balderton 226-10 came away with maximum points as they inflicted defeat upon a miss firing Hucknall side as Chris Morris hit 75 and Jordan Ashby 3-46 & Luke Endley 3-61 and although Scott Harris hit a fine 68 Hucknall were dismissed for 211. Early league leaders are Belvoir 202-3 who had a comfortable 7 wicket win over Long Eaton as Olly Clayfield 92, Tom Neville 49, Jack Copley 41, Greg Oldfield 4-67 & Lewis Dann 3-32 all contribute and in reply only Lerato Kgoatle with 68 made any significant runs in Long Eaton’s total of 201-10. Gedling Colliery 270-8 set a formidable total as Rhys Hayes 80* & Simon Pettet 58 laid the foundations for the huge score and they seemed to be coasting to the win until Sunil Sharma 76* & Nicky Kirkwood 55* combined with an undefeated 6th wicket partnership as Wollaton closed on 198-5. Ammar Khan 59, Khaliq Mailk44 & Yasir Hashmi 4-57 were instrumental in Nott’s Unity Casuals 240-9 gaining a winning draw over Collingham 222-8 who were at one time 112-0 as Alistair Haynes 60 & James Cousins 35 and 4-62 will both feel frustrated at what might have been.
“200 DEGREES COFFEE” DIVISION B
Alistair Pettit 104 & 5-33, John Spragg 84 and Andrew Sharpe 53* all contributed for West Bridgfordians 325-4 in a convincing win over Bottesford 216-10 for whom Dave Allen 81 & Ben Ryder 67 were in the runs. A low scoring affair saw Hoveringham 127-7 edge to victory over Wilsons 124-10 as for the second week in a row Adam Hugill 4-33 starred with the ball for Hoveringham. Ethshan Yaqoob 81, Zahid Iqbal 59 and 3-46 from Liaqat Ali saw Hyson Green Carrington 246-6 gain a winning draw over Wollaton 209-7 as Matt Schofield hit 50. A tense finish at the Rookery saw Clifton 163-9 edge to a one wicket win over Calverton as Richard Harrison 51, Waheed Khan 3-40 and Bernard Kirk 3-33 starred for the victors after Darren Wright had hit 50 in the home sides score of 159-10.
“ROTHERA DOWSON” DIVISION C
An unbeaten 36* & 3-43 from Jonny Thornton enabled Beeston & Toton Sycamore 174-9 to grab the points as the defeated Thrumpton 171-10 who had Amir Wahid contribute 58 in their total. Gotham’s trio of Rob Goddard 6-21, Luke Prettyjohn 4-21 & Matt Hogg 40* made it an early finish as Southwell 45-10 were put to the sword by Gotham who closed on 46-1. An opening partnership of 172 set up a convincing win as Ian Graham 105, Ben Elliot 58, Tom Randall 44 & Tom Newell 50 all joined forces as Keyworth 296-5 then dismissed visitors Hucknall for just 85. Plumtree 187-9 gained the win over Kirkby Portland who fell 34 runs short when they were bowled out for 154. Gedling Colliery 190-9 had Geoff Burton 48 as the mainstay of their innings but 63* from Will Shields & 53 from Chris Allcoat saw Attenborough 194-4 take full points.
“FEET” DIVISION D
Tauseef Ahmed hit 51 but Gedling & Sherwood slipped to 132-10 against West Bridgfordians 133-3 with Ahmed Khan Youdafzal 62* & D Evans 6-15 delivering the knock out blows. Ryan Toms 52 top scored as Bramcote posted 225-10 and then Khalid Rehman took 6-26 as they dismissed Underwood for just 107. Jacob Deavin-Baker took 4-7 as East Bridgford were tumbled out for 63 and Radcliffe on Trent strode to victory scoring 64-3. Sutton Bonnington 53-1 heaped misery upon hosts Newark R & M 52-10 as they galloped away with a nine wicket win. Despite 75 & 4-51 from M Playle it was not enough as hosts Hickling 157-10 fell to defeat against Ellerslie 192-9 for whom D Perry 75 top scored.
“TROPHY MASTER” DIVISION E
Rob Pitman scored an unbeaten 72* in vain as Wymeswold 161-10 fell to defeat at the hands of Collingham 162-6 who had Gary Clark 57 & Henry Godkin 4-38 starring. Sam Lloyd 120*, Brian Johnson 71* and 7-45 from Ben Boot set up a comprehensive victory for Lenton & Willoughby 252-1 as they the dismissed Belvoir 210-10 despite 97 from Paul Chadwick. 68* from Monty Douglas enabled Nott’s Unity Casuals 107-2 take maximum points when they travelled to Fiskerton who were bowled out for just 103. Robbie Britton 51* & James Wood 30* guided Kirkby Portland 137-3 home to success as the defeated Eastwood 131-8. Farndon with Martin Hill 70 & Andrew Duckmanton 72 fell short in their response to Basford Mills’s earlier score of 244-7 with all-rounder Dan Huskinson scoring 54 and then taking 4-44.
“GB BOOKKEEPING” DIVISION F
N Winn 7-25 performed heroics as Bingham 86-2 took the spoils as they secured the win against Gotham 82-10. Burton Joyce 128-9 nervously crossed the winning line by one wicket in reply to Kimberley’s score of 125-10. James Cairney 24 & 5-15 starred with both bat and ball for Calverton 130-6 as they defeated Whatton & Aslockton 129-10. A fine 61* from L Lane saw Caythorpe 153-3 to an easy win over Plumtree who were dismissed for 149 earlier in the day. Chris Dulston 44 & Chris Garrett 6-13 turned the game on its head as Long Eaton 113-10 beat East Leake 81-10.
“NCSL” DIVISION G
An unbeaten 48* from D Charlesworth saw Bottesford 125-4 victorious over West Bridgford Legion 122-10. A first defeat of the season was inflicted on Ravenshead 77-10 as T Holmes 5-22 set up an easy win for Kinoulton 80-3 as N Tyres hit 43*. Figures by Raj Hanspal of 3-11 meant a below par score by Southwell 87-10 was easily passed by Beeston & Toton Sycamore 88-2. Andrew Rose 63, Malcolm Hawley 4-26 & Nathan Sulter 4-27 all joined forces to enable Caunton 210-10 defeat visitors Ruddington 110-10 by 100 runs.

Justin Graham 81 and 53* from Ashley Graham saw Lowdham 172 to a comfortable victory over Gedling Colliery 168-10. Graham Caudwell 55 guided Hucknall 174-5 to the win as they overtook West Bridgfordians target of 170-6 for whom Scott Berridge also hit 55. Rav Digwa hit 90 and then took 5-29 as Young lions 305-9 destroyed Hyson Green Carrington 105-10. Phil Brewster 76 & Rob Arnold 49 laid the foundations for victory as Woodborough 179-3 beat Gedling & Sherwood 145-10 despite an unbeaten 65* from Sunil Banga. Josh Tranter 66* & 3-26 helped Balderton 119-1 to an easy win over near neighbours Newark R & M 116-9.
“CARLTON CAR CENTRE” DIVISION J
Hayden Brooks took 4-35 as Chilwell 153-10 closed out the win over Thrumpton 140-10. A very low scoring affair saw Wollaton 117-8 defeated by Cotgrave Welfare 118-7 who had S Jarab scoring 56. Despite 69 & 3-29 from Simon Widdison for Oxton 160-10 it was not enough to stave of defeat as Keyworth 191-9 notched up a 31 run win over their hosts. Pete Bateman 118*, Sam Randall 71* and Tom Shields 5-26 provided far too much ammunition as Attenborough 295=2 overwhelmed a disappointing Hoveringham who could only muster 62-10. Harry Johnson 30 & 3-9 helped Clifton to victory as they then bowled out Bramcote for just 101.
“KING STONE PRODUCTS” DIVISION K
M Thorley 46* & 3-10 took the plaudits as Underwood 100-6 beat near neighbours Kimberley 99-10. With all three results still possible Basford Old Boys 99-10 fell agonisingly one run short when chasing Lenton & Willoughby’s 100-10 bowlers Pete Rowberry 5-26 for Basford and Phil Reeve 5-14 for Lenton enjoying the bowler friendly conditions. Anthony Downie 85 enabled Thurgarton to score 261-8 and then they humbled opponents Basford Mill by bowling them out for only 45 as Niall Scott took 5-23. Sajid Akram 45 helped Madni 186-9 to victory over Caythorpe 106-10. Dwayne Buckley scored 143* and with Gary Dawson 57 & 3-8 it enabled Stapleford 365-5 to an emphatic win over Chilwell 85-10.
“SIGN SOLOUTIONS” DIVISION L
Gedling Colliery 232-6 cruised to maximum points as the overpowered Newark R & M 46-10 with D O’Donnell 112, C Waite 52 making the headlines. Ellerslie 149-6 made the short trip to Ruddington 148-10 and came away with a four wicket win with over 12 overs to spare. Naz Ali scored a superb 113 and then team mates S Ullah 4-13 & w Azhar 3-13 combined for Poplars 249-7 as they then bowled out home side Breaston for only 89.
“ORACLE PROPERTY FINANCE” DIVISION M
Match winning efforts by Dave Nixon 34 & 5-14, Luke Donavan 46 & John Curtis 44 provided the platform as Farndon 172-5 beat Belvoir 124-10. Wymeswold 212-8 had contributions from Harry Shaw 52, Andy Matthews 43 & Ian Farmer 31 but Attenborough 213-2 coasted home by eight wickets thanks to David Harris 55 and an unbeaten 88* form Carl Knight. It was nip and tuck in the game which saw Whatton & Aslockton 125-9 gain a one wicket win over Burton Joyce 124-10 as Nick Eatough scored 47 for the victors. Nick Scott 25* & 3-15 steered Collingham 161-5 to victory as they overtook opponents East Bridgford’s earlier score of 157-10. George Unwin hit 70 to enable Nott’s & Arnold 161-6 to the win over Thrumpton who had earlier posted a respectable 159-9

Take a bow Alex Winlarski as the youngster hit 100* as West Bridgfordians 228-4 defeated Nott’s & Arnold 83-10 as Craig James 4-15 wrapped up the points. Lambley 241-10 had Karlos Oakden 105 & Elliot Griffiths 4-3 starring in their win over West Bridgford Legion 75-10. Joe Gant took 4-10 as Old Dalby 129-4 made light work of Beeston & Toton’s earlier score of 125-10. A fine 60 from C Good & 43 from D Taylor helped Bingham 168-10 to inflict a first defeat of the season upon Nottingham Deaf 85-10 for whom J Cresswell scored 39. Paul Harley took 4-10 and then Alex Pavier hit 38 as Hucknall 95-3 easily overcame Ellerslie’s score of 91-10.
